My last post got me to thinking about vulnerability. Like Lady Buddha, allowing myself to be vulnerable to another person is …was …is …was …is …was an important personal goal of mine. Ugh!

Truth be told, vulnerable SoJo (on the outside) looks almost the same as guarded SoJo. Maybe it’s because guarded SoJo has always been vulnerable SoJo wearing a mask. But enough about ME (lol), let’s talk about this whole nose wide open thing. What does it look like? How do you get there?

Ms. Smart mentioned that men normally do not expose their core until they see the woman letting her guard down. It makes them feel safe. I was on the fence about that. From what I’ve seen from men who have stomped on hearts or handed them back to the givers emotionlessly never seemed to care that the woman bared herself to him. I do see them becoming comfortable with women who show tangible actions of loyalty. That makes sense to me because it appeals to a man’s practical nature.

Curiosity has gotten the better of me, so what better than a poll to see if there are differences between men/women and this matter of allowing others behind our wall?
