Last year on my birthday, I did a “You LIVE, You LEARN” post chronicling all of the WIZDUMB that I’d gathered during my 34 revolutions around the sun. So, in honor of my 35th revolution, here’s a continuation of my Testimony…Volume 35….

1. LOVE to LIVE.
2. LIVE to LOVE.
3. You don’t NEED to rush to work on or change a damn thing about yourself.
4. Evolution is inevitable.
5. Inhaling deeply, pausing and exhaling slowly can lift you higher than any sip of alcohol will (and contains fewer calories).
6. Men that truly “get” women never have to speak in riddles, hyperbole or use flowery language.
7. Bacon is God’s way of letting Her children know that She loves us.
8. If you think your glass is half empty, purchase more wine.
9. It’s OK to allow your #InnerChild out to play every day. She/he has a kick-azz big brother/sister named #Intuition to help guard your innocence. Trust them.
10. Southern men will ALWAYS know how to make a woman feel warm, cozy and safe. #anditscoolwhenyoucauseacozycondition
11. It’s a lot easier to diagnose someone else’s issues when it comes to relating to someone else than focus on your own.  #cutthatshytout
12. It’s difficult to resist the gravitational pull of a hard bass line…in a song and in a man.
13. If you don’t make time to clean off your mirror regularly, you’ll look up one day and not recognize your reflection.
14. But when you finally do grab a hold of that Windex, WOW what a BEautiful glow awaits you.
15. Never allow Vampires to steal your LIGHT.
16. Pooting glitter ALL of the time can leave you with a terrible case of hemorrhoids. #backedupangst
17. There’s no such thing as a free ride. #FreeSoJo
18. When you carefully and purposefully create space in your LIFE, you will be pleasantly surprised by who fills it.
19. Allow friendships to remain fluid, but make sure that your LOVE is solid.
20. Acknowledge the hurt that you may have caused others (intentional or unintentional) and make amends as best as someone allows you to.
21. Even if you don’t mention the elephant, everyone still sees it.
22. There’s no place like HOME.
23. The gunshot holds no FEAR. #sayit
24. There is a #Hashtag for everything.
25. Downloading too many non-essential applications will cause your Blackberry/PC to freeze.
26. Plugging in to too many non-essential LIFE forces will cause your Spirit to freeze.
27. Sometimes it’s for the best to allow other people to maintain their illusions, rather than burst their bubble before they’re ready. #dontaskdonttell
28. There are situations where acting inappropriately is the most appropriate thing to do.
29. There is nothing more powerfully healing than human touch.
30. Taste the rainbow.
31. Questioning everything is a great way to exercise your FAITH.
32. Remain open enough to TRUST the answers when they appear.
33. What may seem like a waste of time today is merely preparation time for things to come.
34. Buy several pair of fashionable shades in anticipation of your bright future. You’ll want to look fly for the paparazzi.
35. India wasn’t lying when she said there’s a blessing in every lesson. #LaVerdad
