When I was just shy of 34, I decided to compose a list of things that I’d learned over the years. Each year I created a new list. This became my testimony. Here is Volume 36:

1. I LIVE…I LEARN
2. LIFE is a series of question and quotation marks, commas, colons, semi-colons, ‘suspenseful dots’ and emoticons.
3. Don’t believe in periods.
4. Except precisely every 28-35 days… O_o
5. LIFE is a game. Enjoy the sport.
6. You can’t W(in) the game if you’re not (in) the game.
7. Participation ribbons are bullshit.
8. But then again, so are some 1st place trophies.
9. Don’t break the rules. Create the rules.
10. Perfect PEACE and perfect LIFE aren’t necessarily synonymous.
11. They are, however, one in the same. #confusingiknow
12. CONCEIVE…BELIEVE…ACHIEVE… #foolproofformulaforsuccess
13. Hardest part? Preparing yourSELF to RECEIVE.
14. As above, so below.
15. Change the voices in your head. Make them like you instead. #wordtoP!nk
16. Thoughts are worth more than a penny. Don’t sell yourSELF cheap.
17. It’s 2AM…BREATHE
18. Trust your GPS but pay close attention to the road signs to make sure the path hasn’t changed along the way.
19. Thinking like a man is overrated. It can make a woman hard.
20. There is value in femininity.
21. Mars and Venus may be different planets, but together they are a part of a beautiful galaxy. #ONE
22. Earth…air…fire…water…. #justnotallatonce
23. Playing with filters are cool, but appreciate the original snapshot.
24. Everything is more beautiful by moonlight.
25. Never allow the illusion of death to interfere with your gift of LIFE.
26. Cherish and protect your time, but hoarding or obsessing over it is a waste.
27. If you lead with your heart, there’s no room for regrets.
